Julia & Oscar | Proposal and Engagement Photos | Atlanta Botanical Gardens

One of my other clients (and friend), Lizzy, contacted me a few months ago asking if I’d capture a proposal for one of her friends, Julia, and I am so happy that I said yes! Oscar and Julia have been together for quite some time, but he finally made it official by setting up a really sweet surprise proposal + giving Julia a gorgeous ring and promise to love her for all time. Julia thought she was at Atlanta Botanical Garden for a photoshoot for Lizzy, and was totally shocked when Oscar came out behind some trees toward her. There were lots of (happy) tears and hugs from the friends who helped pull this off. The proposal took place in the Japanese Rose Garden of Atlanta Botanical Gardens, and after she said yes, we walked around other parts of the gardens for more photos. The lighting was everything and more, and I only wish we could’ve kept shooting because they were so much fun to be around. Congrats, Julia and Oscar!
